Arena Residency – Private View

On the 7th of May my residency was opened up for people to see what I have been working on for the past two weeks. The turn out was bigger than I expected and it was great to have such lovely feed back.  I have really enjoyed my time in Arena studios and Gallery, it has been beneficial to my work and I have met and lovely artists.

The most valuable part of the residency  was having the time to look at my work and process, and what it has taught me. it taught me to calm down my thinking, let thoughts go, relax and let emotions flow and come through. Its hard to put in words because its emotive and based round intuition  but I’ve had a glimpse of creating from this perspective and the work it leads too.
