Day 5 – organising verses relaxed

After yesterday and reading/going through the quotes. I wanted to put more together to help me explain my work and for me to understand it. I want to make the most of this residency, while it is time consuming and may seem to go off tangent, organising my research will help me in the lone time and while I am here drawing.

So I spent a couple of hours getting a bit organised. Going through the quotes I have collected from the books that I have read, and putting them into orders depending on their subject. (There a method to my madness.)

After getting organised I continued with my drawing. With the realisation of how tense I was when drawing, I consciously chose to relax my grip, which changed the style and look of the drawing, been less accurate and realistic but had more of a flowed. With this change in drawing, I felt the tension in my body fall away, became more aware and had insights. The insight part I shall touch upon later.
