Day 5 – organising verses relaxed

After reading and going through the quotes yesterday I wanted to put more quotes together to help explain my work and to help me to understand it. Although I want to make the most of this residency, and while it is time consuming and may seem to be going off on a tangent, organising my research is helping me define my idea and will be beneficial in the long time. So I spent a couple of hours getting a bit more organised, going through the quotes I have collected from the books that I have read, and putting them into orders depending on their subject. (There a method to my madness.)

After getting organised I continued drawing. By drawing upright on the wall, it changed the way I drew, I realised of how tense I had been when drawing, gripping the pen. I consciously chose to relax my grip, which changed the style and look of the drawing, it was less accurate but had more of a flowed. With this change in drawing, I felt the tension in my body fall away, became more aware and had insights, the insight part I shall touch upon later.
